I've been reminiscing on High School a lot recently. I miss it in ways and am glad it's over in other ways. Music connects me to that time and Paramore is currently my portal. When I think back to then I wish I had been myself more often and I wish that I had been more like I am now. More outgoing and not afraid of other's opinions. I guess that is just a part of growing up. We don't know to escape from our shell until it happens.
"That's what you get when you let your heart win." You escape from your former self and blossom into someone new. I just wish sometimes I could relive moments of the past as this new me, but I suppose I'll just have to keep that as a wish.
